"2022年11月2日，由中央党史和文献研究院与新华社联合主办的“红厅论坛：读懂中国共产党二十大”国际研讨会在中国共产党历史展览馆成功举行。来自82个国家的100余位驻华使节代表、国外智库专家和媒体记者，与中央和国务院有关部门、国家高端智库建设试点单位和中央媒体的200余位代表在现场和线上参加论坛。红厅论坛在国内外反响热烈，产生一定积极影响。
本书收录的19篇论文来自中央党史和文献研究院院长曲青山、新华社社长傅华及17位国内外智库专家在红厅论坛上的主旨发言。论文围绕党的二十大报告提出的新概念、新范畴、新表述，重点聚焦“关键在党”“中国式现代化”“中华优秀传统文化”三个议题展开讨论，对国内外读者更好地理解和把握党的二十大精神具有一定参考价值。"
